Steeple

This steeple belongs to one of three main churches in downtown Bangor. I am not sure which church it belongs to but the height of it makes for a beautiful skyline.

So what is the tallest building in your neighborhood?

That would be the Columbia Center Building ... actually the tallest west of the Mississippi ... if I remember correctly.

très belle cette église, très traditionnelle, j'aime. Le plus grand immeuble a coté de chez moi, la cathédrale.
very nice this church, very traditional, I like. The biggest building quoted from my home, the cathedral.

That steeple is so typical of American churches!
The tallest building in my small town might be the 4 storey apartment building at the end of my street... or possibly the brick clock tower in the town square. As you can tell, not many skyscrapers around here!

What a beautiful New England steeple you've brought us! Thanks.
The tallest building in my home neighborhood probably tops out at 12 stories, but the tallest in my work neighborhood is the Chrysler Bldg. across the street!

Here's the steeple
Open the door and
See all the people.

This truly doth make for a great visual!

That's fascinating — the steeple seems to be taller than the church itself. Very pretty.

In my part of Metro Manila, the tallest building has been standing unfinished for more than a decade — a real eyesore! :(

Looks like one if by land, two if by sea. Except Bangor isn't on the sea. Still, it's fine New England architecture.

Obviously, the tallest thing around here is the A...

Oh cute! Let's see... tallest... I'm thinking it should be those ugly building at Trump Place at the very end of Riverside Drive around W70ish. That's about 10 blocks from me. My area is all about brownstones, old fashioned appartment buildings and newer ones that do not really get much higher than their predecessors. Things get more varied as you go South.

That steeple belongs to, what was, the Unitarian Church on Union Street.
