This Daddy Long Leg spider was seen walking around the leaves at the Orono Blog. The insect is pretty harmless to humans but deadly for small mosquitoes and flies.
This is the only spider that I'm not deathly afraid of. In fact this type doesn't scare me at all... except that one time a nest hatched and the ceiling of my apartment was crawling with literally dozens of them.
EEEWWWW!!! A SPIDER! I'm not very keen on spiders, especially ones with those long skinny legs, but what amazing creatures they are! My best feature, well, I'm gorgeous all over, of course!
Ming, that's a terrific picture. What sets it apart are the layers of depth, the foreground leaves with open spaces to more foliage further back. Not a bad bug, either.
Eeeeeek! Oh, wait, this is one of the good guys. Amazing shot, Ming. And my best feature? My feet. (Now if I could just find an otherwise great guy with a foot fetish!)
This Daily Photo Blog was created to share my love of photography and my experience/life/move to Bangor, and the places I've visited around Maine.
All photos are original properties of Ming the Merciless, which obviously is NOT my real name but you get the gist of it.

That looks oddly like the little robots in The Matrix movies...very metallic!
Amazing we both show spiders today -:)
Where's his other two legs? I only see six.
Great photo, Ming!
I fear so much all kind of spiders... even the harmless.
Kills mosquitoes, heh? Box him up and send him down!
