UMaine Museum of Art

This is the central lobby of the UMaine Museum of Art in downtown Bangor. After shooting the exterior of the museum last week, I decided to visit the museum on Saturday. I am totally amazed at the quality of work exhibited here, especially for a museum of this size. I think everyone who lives or visits Bangor, Maine should stop by and check it out.

Penobscot River Bridge

The Penobscot River was almost completely frozen when I took this photo a couple weeks ago. There were some patches here and there where the river surface has not turned to ice yet. The area across the bridge is Brewer, which is across the river from Bangor.

Skater Waiting His Turn

The tiny ice skating rink in a small park on Broad Street in downtown Bangor attracts quite a number of young and older skaters alike. This gentleman with his skates slung over his shoulder is waiting his turn on the ice.

Green and Yellow

This is the back entrance to the UMaine Museum of Art in downtown Bangor. As I walked by, I was totally entranced by the amazing green color from the window on the 2nd floor. It felt like peeking into someone's living room.
