Stillwater River

I was out and about all weekend because the weather was spectacular. The sky was clear, the sun was bright and the humidity was low. It was simply perfect. This photo was taken at the edge of the Stillwater River in Orono. I wish I could kayak down the river.

So how was your weekend?

What a gorgeous spot, Ming! Sounds like you're having a good time up there. Went to see "Julie and Julia" this weekend—loved it, but it made me so hungry!

BTW, wasn't it funny that almost everyone yesterday said they couldn't live without their computer and their camera? Guess that's the response you get when you ask a bunch of bloggers!

Beautiful river...

Do you kayak??? I want to learn how - but, I DO NOT swim - so, I am thinking about taking a private lesson to see if it is something I want to pursue...

My week-end was quiet!

You're asking about MY weekend when you've posted a shot of paradise?

Well, it was very hot and very humid and I had to do yard work and damn near died.

What I wanted to do was go photograph stuff like what you did!

You lucky dog, you! ;-)

beautiful and peaceful. I would love to kayak on that still water. My Mom has been following your site regularly and told me to find you in bangor and now I have and will be back for more! I worked all weekend on both house and real work but did try to get my photos in order for posting and worked on my new travel site. Both gave me joy and distract me from the rest of the world. It is quite enjoyable to go through photos, edit, prepare them for a series, and write the text. Time flies. You can check out our new travel photos at www.vivalavoyage.com We post travel photos on Sunday and we just posted India photos.
