This pendulum like contraption swung and turned/twirled on its axis giving thrill seekers the time of their lives at the Bangor State Fair last weekend. The fair ends this coming Sunday.So what are your plans this weekend?

Weekend plans upstate. Weather is finally decent and no rain in forecast.
Hi Ming! 08.08 always deserves a bit of champagne; at least for those who got married some 34 years ago. We just had a bit of Veuve Clicquot... ;)) So that's the plan, and tonight «Jazz in August»... No pendulum...;))

Anything but being on one of those! We almost stopped en route from Astoria to Bend to ride a Ferris wheel at the county fair, but were late for the turnoff and kept on going. I'm trying not to work too hard this weekend :) Maybe I'll read more about my camera - just being lazy and working a bit. Enjoying different scenery. How about you?

Work (an event) yesterday, Saturday, afternoon. Ugh. Countered by a New Wave performance night in our favorite bar. Now I'm deaf and have a headache, but it was worth it! :D

These country fairs are paradise for photographers. This is a great photo. It makes me remember going to the fairs at Topsham and Blue Hill, southeast of Bar Harbor, in Maine.
Great shot-but I get motion sick. This week-end going to Julia and Julie.
