iPhone Wednesday #3

This photo was taken at a friend's house in Hampden where we had a party recently. The beautiful house comes with a huge deck and a heated pool in the backyard.

Kim of Seattle Daily Photo and Chuck of One A Day - Mostly Seattle are also posting iPhone Wednesday photos today.

What is that thing in the middle? It looks like a partially submerged beach ball!

Great picture. Looks like the ball is almost hovering above the surface.

Hi Ming! Is that a green beach ball? Sorta looks like a green mushroom. Very interesting picture. Love the iPhone!

A heated pool? What luxury!

Very cool photo! And Jun's comment made me think—if (or rather, when) you come back to NYC for a visit I hope you'll let all of us NYC bloggers know so we can get together w/you.

I really, really LOVE this shot, Ming!
My apology that I forgot to list you and Chuck on Wednesday. I just now got the chance to visit around and see that Chuck didn't do an iPhone Wednesday last week, so it was just you and me.

Re. the iPhone applications, I've downloaded several, of which I'd recommend Photogene, Color Splash, Blur, and Tilt Shift. There are many others, and each has something to offer, some with lots of features, others just one thing. There is a zoom lens app you can use to actually take the photo. And there are specialty cases you can buy that add a lens. I have one that does wide angle (it slides over the camera lens when you want it). I saw a maybe 4" actual zoom lens that fits on the iPhone via a thin case that it secures to, and it has 10x zoom and costs $10. I imagine the market for gadets and apps will grow pretty quickly, as the guy on Flickr who posted a photo of the $10 zoom lens had over 2000 views of it in 2 days. :-)
