iPhone Wednesday #1

Kim of Seattle Daily Photo started a photo theme a couple months ago called iPhone Wednesday and since then, Chuck of One A Day - Mostly Seattle has joined in. I am posting my first iPhone Wednesday photo today.

This photo was taken in front of McLachlan Seafood, Inc. on Main Street in Bangor. On one side of the building is a retail store that sells live lobsters as well as other seafood items. On the other side is a lobster shack that serves steamed lobsters, baked clams and a host of other seafood dishes.

So what is your favorite seafood dish?

My first 3 choices would have to be lobster, lobster, and . . . lobster! This is a great idea, btw.

Macadamia encrusted Dolphin (the fish not Flipper). Then again, Stone Crab is hard to beat. I like the idea regarding iphone photos. Will try to remember next week.

"Packed to travel"
That made me smile. I wonder what lobsters pack when they travel? :)

I love seafood of all kinds!

WOW! This was taken with your iPhone? The quality is amazing. My faves are king prawns and scallops any day. Love lobster and crab too, but it's such hard work...and I'm a lazy eater! ;o)

I want to post a photo from my phone, too... but my post will have to be called "Blackberry Wednesday" since I don't have an iPhone. :)

Crabs, of course. Maybe raw oysters. Hmmm. Oysters first, then crabs? Nice photo. Phone cameras keep surprising me. I got one of the rare Blackberrys with no camera. It was almost an experimental model. Oh well, my camera is almost glued to my hand.

Lobster-sized suitcases. Tee hee. Crabs, shrimp, lobsters... Anything but oysters, thanks.

Woo hoo Ming. I eat far too much seafood and could almost not pick a face among so many delicious possibilities, but I have to say that salmon is king with me :-).

It is so fun that you and Chuck are doing iPhone Wednesday with me. I was inspired by famous Seattle photographer Chase Jarvis using his iPhone creatively. I didn't know who he was when met him one day out shooting like I was and indroduced himself simply as Chase. Not too many folks named Chase running around Seattle with a camera in hand, so months later when someone mentioned his work I looked it up and saw all the amazing things he's doing. Very fun. I started to use the iPhone camera on the blog awhile back, then I met a guy who was doing a photo a day with his iPhone and I thought I could manage one a week. I'm limiting myself to taking and editing the shots all with just the iPhone and iPhone apps. Now I wish I had the newer iPhone's upgraded camera, but i'll stick with what I've got. Have fun with it!
