Thursday Dinner Special @ the Weathervane Restaurant

The Weathervane Seafood Restaurant in Brewer, which is across the Penobscot River from Bangor, has a Thursday dinner special -- it is the 2 (1 lb) lobsters for $19.95. I was there for dinner yesterday and ordered the lobster diner. They were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.

So what is your favorite dinner meal?

Gorgeous picture!
And yummy dinner.
I'm always a little confused when confronted with a whole lobster (or two!) on a plate... what do I do first? How do I eat this creature? But once I'm started, I soon get the hang of it!

That looks like a lot of work, but well WORTH the effort! Amazing price!!

Chuck, it wasn't as much work as I thought it would be.

Since it was my first time eating a whole lobster like that, I studied the diagrams on how to dismember a lobster on the neck apron that came with the meal and it definite was helpful.

YUM! That IS my favorite dinner meal. Aren't you lucky to find delicious, affordable lobster—even without the new job, that alone would be worth a move to Bangor!

Have you met Stephen King yet? Definitely check out the fence around his house if you haven't already. Enjoy Bangor . . . it's a world away from NYC
