Marigold & Wasp

This marco shot was taken at the Norumbega Parkway flower patch at downtown Bangor. The marigold flower seemed to have a guest visiting its stamen and stigma. Maybe it was there to smell the flower.

So when was the last time you stopped to smell the flower?

Beautifully captured, Ming!
Since I've recently joined my local botanic garden, I stop to smell the flowers almost every weekend.

Different from NYC! Did you feel the flavour of flowers there? (I guess you could, but your attention was more easily caught by other things?)

I'm glad I wasn't smelling that flower when you took the shot. Wasps are very difficult to get out of your nose.

I stopped to smell a flower a few days ago, but I was so busy at the time, I don't remember the circumstances! This is true, but it's sad. It almost defeats the purpose, but not quite. I'll relax more next time, and think of your question.
