Lichen growing on the tree truck in Bar Harbor where the air is usually saturated with moisture. I am beginning to notice lichens every where here in Maine.So have you noticed anything different in your town?

How funny! I took a photo of lichen just like this last weekend while walking in a park near my apartment here in San Francisco where it is also damp most of the time.
This is lovely. The green is so green, and you did a great job capturing the unusual shapes. It's quite intriguing. It's one thing I noticed about Oregon when I moved here in 2001 after living in Southern California and in Western Colorado - everything was so green, and there were so many shapes and shades of it.
