UMaine Museum of Art

This is the central lobby of the UMaine Museum of Art in downtown Bangor. After shooting the exterior of the museum last week, I decided to visit the museum on Saturday. I am totally amazed at the quality of work exhibited here, especially for a museum of this size. I think everyone who lives or visits Bangor, Maine should stop by and check it out.

Looks like a place I'd enjoy a lot. If it's anything like our university art gallery, you should visit regularly. Because the space is small, displays and exhibits change often so they can showcase the ones in storage.

And very nicely composed photo, Ming. I really like the way you included the tiny sculpture parts in the lower left of the frame. Well done!!

I didn't know it was there the time I passed through. We've been to the art museum in Portland a couple of times, which is surprisingly good.

Flying to South America tonight. Pix to follow.
