Penobscot Theater

The scallop shell detailing on the awning is part of the Penobscot Theater that houses the Bangor theater company and opera house. Currently, Steel Magnolias is playing at the theater. I hope to go see it this weekend.

So what theater have you seen lately?

nous avons un petit théâtre à Évry, dans le centre commercial, j'aime bien aller écouter des concerts.

I was in London at the weekend for my daughters 21st and we went to see Billy Eliot at the Victoria theatre.
It was fantastic and so was the shopping

This looks like such a pretty theater—would love to see the inside, if you get a chance. Glad you're taking advantage of Bangor's cultural offerings!
Since no one here in NYC has any money anymore, we're all grateful for any free concerts etc. the city wants to provide—most recently HD screenings of operas from a screen mounted on the facade of the Met(ropolitan Opera). I missed Madame Butterfly this past Monday, but enjoyed La Boheme the Friday before. (Wish you were here, Ming.)

I have been watching cable TV more these days.

Other than that it's youtube! LOL..

There's so many theatre shows I wanna watch, but when I am free, the tickets have been sold out!
