What really prompted me to take this photo of the good looking cowboy was actually his lasso rope bag. I didn't know it was a lasso bag when I took the photo (with his permission, of course) until later when I realized he was part of a dog and rope act at the American Folk Festival last weekend. I love the aged patina of that leather bag.So do you have a favorite bag?

I never would have guessed it. I had the same thought as Bibi at first.
I thought maybe he had a snare drum in there—wonder where you buy a lasso bag. I do have a fave bag, a carry-on that works like one of those little clown cars at the circus. It's almost miraculous what it will hold.

I have a brown "faux leather" bag with lots of zippers, very useful, but I bought a white one for the summer.... but it's real leather and SO HEAVY once I have all my "stuff" in it, so I'm back to using the brown one.
I never knew that they kept ropes in a special bag! Thanks for sharing.
My favourite kind of bag? A suitcase - means I'm going on holiday!
