Continuity of Commuity

This fountain sculpture, entitled Continuity of Community by Clark Battle Fitz-Gerald (1917–2004)is situation right in the middle of downtown Bangor. The buildings surround it have some of the best locally own restaurants and pubs around. In fact, my favorite cafe is just round the corner from here.

So what are your plans for the weekend?

This sculpture immediately caught my eye on the portal. Smooth, clean lines...very nice. Plans? Watching granddaughter during her horseback riding lessons tomorrow, dinner out at night, and birthday brunch for the Virgos in my family: my son and I!! September babies are the best kind!

Heading to San Diego (Fallbrook) to visit grandchildren and 2 month old newest addition. Watching a 7 year old play soccer tomorrow.

Have a great week-end.

I really like this sculpture. Great photo.

I rather like the clean lines in this sculpture. It reminds me of a bird, a swan I think.
The weekend.... local artists studio tour, I hope to go on Sunday. If I do, I'll be posting photos.

Love the juxtaposition of the sleek modern sculpture and the older buildings. This weekend? I'm either washing the clothes I have or buying new ones—it's come to that. Hope your plans are more exciting than mine!

I like the sculpture and I think it's nice to have a fountain in the middle of all the commercial district.

Sleep! Already watched two plays over the week :)
