View from the top of the Hill

This photo was taken atop of a hill on Pleasant Street on the western side of downtown Bangor. I don't know which church it is because there are about half a dozen churches in the downtown area alone.

I'm betting that view might be stunning about mid-October ......

It looks massive from here. Very striking tower too.

I'm also intrigued by that huge white house beside it. Hint, hint…

Chuck, I will have to go back there in October because I just "discovered" the hill top last weekend. :-)

Nice shot. I agree back with the leaves exploding!

So, the Bangorese are a pious folk? It's the same over here where you might find 5 or 6 churches right near each other!

Yes, looks like the good people of Bangor are (or at least were) churchgoing folks. I'd be happy to see this scene in autumn too, Ming.

What a beautiful and serene capture. I like the stark white against the brick.

wow, I had no idea there were so many churches in Maine!

This church looks a lot like ones in Boston. Very New England-y

You've landed in a really lovely city Ming. I like the steeple against that blue sky!
