This is a peek inside a classical stringed instrument dealer's shop on Central Street in downtown Bangor. The building also houses a music school, a musical instrument repair shop and a few artist studios.
This reminds me of the kind of mix in the building where I took trumpet lessons so many years ago. Music store on street level with studios and an instrument repair shop upstairs. Very cool Bohemian feel to that place but it was about 50 years ago now.
You've reminded me I want to visit a stringed instrument shop I go past frequently not far from home.
I just love this photograph, Ming. There's something about writing on glass with something displayed behind, particularly beautiful musical instruments like this - fabulous! A lovely shot.
This Daily Photo Blog was created to share my love of photography and my experience/life/move to Bangor, and the places I've visited around Maine.
All photos are original properties of Ming the Merciless, which obviously is NOT my real name but you get the gist of it.
