There are pros and cons to living in small towns. This is definitely one of the pluses. I do not see views like this often enough for the good of my soul.

I haven't been commenting lately - rather lurking - but, I love this photo.

I have to agree it is one of the perks of living in New England - and a small town.

Not many green leaves on the trees in that photo. Taken a couple of weeks ago?

Lovely, Ming—has spring sprung up there now?

i wish i lived close to a river. love the sound of water!

ps! sorry, i forgot to reply concerning your question about when is a good time to go to scandinavia. i posted the reply on my blog, but here it is too :)

Hey ming, sorry for the late reply!
there is a lot of interesting scandinavian art. both contemporary and older art. when it comes to the cuisine however, i'm not so sure...lol.

if you are visiting norway and scandinavia, may, june, july, august are good months. it's nice and warm (but never hot) but the best thing of all, are the gorgeous, endless nights, where it only gets dark for a couple of hours.

it never really gets boiling hot over here. the summer's are cool, maybe 20-25 degrees celcius.
