Business Cards at Java Joe's Cafe

These business cards and leaflets are on one of two sign boards at the Java Joe's Cafe on Central Street in downtown Bangor. It seems like the place is popular among the local coffee crowd.

Chalk Artist Jill Gardner

I was at Giacomo's this weekend for my regular Saturday morning coffee when I saw artist Jill Gardner working on a new menu sign for the cafe. She graciously let me photograph her while she drew and chatted about her work.

iPhone Wednesday #24: Coffee & Soda

This was part of my lunch last weekend at Giacomo's on Main Street in downtown Bangor. What you can't see in this photo is the prosciutto + lettuce + tomato (p.l.t.) panini, which is a specialty at the cafe.

Kim of Seattle Daily Photo, Chuck of One A Day - Mostly Seattle and Petrea of Pasadena Daily Photo are also posting iPhone Wednesday photos today.

Where's My Coffee?

This was what's left in my cup after I finished my double espresso a couple weekends ago. You can see the creama -- frothy coffee oil -- left on the side of the cup.

So how do you take your coffee?

Reflection

This photo was taken at Giacomo's where I usually get my coffee on Saturdays. The cafe serves a great selection of Italian style paninis and desserts.

So do you usually go out for brunch or breakfast on the weekends?

Lobster Roll at Giacomo's

This was my lobster roll dinner at Giacomo's, which is located on the corner of Main and Union Street in Bangor. The lobster claws were served naked (without any dressing) on a piece of romaine lettuce tugged inside a toasted bun. The natural sweetness of the lobster claws were simply amazing.

So have you ever had a lobster roll? If so, where and when did you have it?
